The end of the year, the end of a season, and an opportunity to spend some time with friends and family. While old successes like Harley Davidson are still around and going strong, new ones like Hannah Montana have emerged to find their places under the sun. Sometimes successes are short-lived, like hit movies that are quickly overshadowed by others in an industry that produces (or tries to produce) one blockbuster after another. What can we do? Go biking at Ilha do Cardoso maybe, or travel to outer space. Some things are here to stay, like an amber jewel, while others disappear, like “banana republic” governments. And some things are more important than others: Jesus Christ was born, even if it wasn’t on December 25. So, have yourself a merry little Christmas, now!
